Following his acclaimed 2023 release Tales From The Big Smoke, Palumbo returns with a powerful new chapter, a brand-new EP capturing the grit, groove and hard-earned perspective of life on and off the road.
Blending Americana, blues, funk and Brit Rock, the new material expands on Palumbo’s signature storytelling, exploring working-class ambition, modern disconnection and the search for meaning in an increasingly transactional world.
"These songs are snapshots of stories that didn’t fit on the first record," says Palumbo. "Ironically, they feel more relevant now than when they were written."
Recorded between London, Ashley Manor Studios (Bath, UK) and the Blue Mountains (NSW), the EP reunites Palumbo with acclaimed producer Simon Willey (Bryan Ferry, The Great Gatsby, Prince). The result is a rich, dynamic collection balancing vintage warmth with widescreen arrangements and raw, guitar-driven energy.
